NMD-Chip Ethics
The NMD-CHIP project will be coordinated and managed by Nicolas Levy. Nicolas Levy has a long standing experience in the field of genetics of neuromuscular disorders. As heading one of the most important molecular genetics laboratory in France and in Europe, he has focused most of his efforts towards developing gene's explorations as well as improving diagnosis methods.
In particular, his laboratory is in charge of the molecular analyses for most of the CMT known genes as well as many LGMD or CMD genes.
The main decision-making body of the NMD-CHIP project is the Steering Committee. It will be assisted by advisory committees: the Intellectual Property Committee, the Scientific Advisory, the Project Ethical Council and the Dissemination Committee.
